Hi-Tea at Hotel UiTM, Shah Alam

I was so happy being at this place as to flashback my old bittersweet memories as a student here from 1995-1999. Dato'Sri Ibrahim Abu Shah, the Vice-Chancellor of UiTM was the host for this small hi-tea function and attended by approximately 30 guests including royal guest the Raja Perempuan Perlis, Tuanku Fauziah. As usual, we had poco-poco and songs by Tuanku Fauziah including her favourites, Apa Yang Ku Cari (Endang S.Taurina) & Wulan Merindu (Cici Paramida).

I had a great time with Farizal (keyboardist) and Masyudi (singer) both are army musicians.. Thanks guys!

Chinese Wedding Reception @ Courtyard Garden Restaurant

Venue: The Courtyard Garden Restaurant, Damansara Heights.
Time: 7 - 11.30pm
Entertainment: 3-piece Band

Hi All! This is a chinese wedding reception but the decoration was very simple with a limited number of guests. Not as happening as other wedding receptions..They've requested the band to play only jazz music..we happily replied 'No Problem!'. Tonight we're gonna be a JAZZ BAND! - A credit to my duet partner, Molyadi for singing jazz very well like a jazz/soulful star! And thanks to Ah Chai (the keyboardist) for having quite a number of jazz music in his stock. I just love this genre of music..

Malay Wedding Reception at Dewan Perdana Felda

Date of Event: 19-5-2008 (Monday-falls on Wesak Day)
Venue: Dewan Perdana FELDA, Kuala Lumpur.
Time: 8 - 10.45pm
Entertainment: 6-pcs band

Once again we performed at Dewan Perdana FELDA for a wedding reception. We were amazed with the 'pelamin' decoration..(how much would be the cost??). The sound system was better this time and we ended the show with latin music until 10.45pm. After the show, we 'lepak' at mamak stall, Valentine Roti at Jalan Semarak without changing my 'glamour' dress..! Emm..

Malay Wedding Reception at KL Hilton

Salam bloggers! The wedding reception @ KL Hilton was an extravaganza with beautiful hall decoration. So romantic with deem lights and of course with the handsome & gorgeous pengantin. The Royal & VVIP guests were HRH Raja Perlis & Raja Perempuan Perlis and Tun Dr.Mahathir & Tun Dr.Siti Hasmah. We continued the show with 'poco-poco' songs as well as a surprise birthday celebration for Tuanku Raja Perlis.

Malay Wedding Reception at Kelab Shah Alam, Selangor

I seldom do show in Shah Alam and this is my first time at Kelab Shah Alam. Anyway, it was quite easy to get to this place which is nearby Tesco Shah Alam. It really reminds me to the atmosphere of Kelab Darul Ehsan (i was there for 3 years as a banquet sales executive..).

Nevertheless, the event was quite simple and our performance was also simple as well with basic love songs and some duets with my old buddy, Mokhtar. Ah Chai was the keyboardist.

Majlis Santapan Malam Hari Keputeraan Al-Sultan Kelantan ke 58

A private function was held at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 20/4/2008 in conjunction with Tuanku Al-Sultan Kelantan's 58th birthday. We were so exhausted as the show ended at nearly 2am..

Anyway, the show has been filled with oldies numbers including Senyuman Tak Berbalas & Jikalau Abang Merindu (Saloma) and amongst my favourite songs keroncong Bisikan Hati (Rafeah Buang), Kau Yang Ku Nanti (Yusni Hamid), L.O.V.E (new version by Natalie Cole) and Fallen (Lauren Wood). This is music entertainment by a 6-pcs band..
