The royal dinner started very late at about 10pm as to welcome the arrival of HRH Raja Perlis, Raja Perempuan Perlis and Raja Muda Perempuan Perak. The dinner has been organised by staffs of Istana Negara to express their gratitudes to HRH Raja Perlis and Raja Perempuan Perlis. As usual, the poco-poco session has conquered the event with most VIPs on the floor. Datuk Mohd.Sabtu (KL Chief of Police), Datuk Ayub (Penang Chief of Police) and Datuk Raja Reza Shah (Shah Reza of Nusantara Gems) were among the VIPs.

Malay Wedding Reception in Putrajaya

This is my first show in this newly built Dewan Persidangan at Presint 2, just opposite House of Justice. The function started late and we had a poco-poco session as well. We had a special request for You're Still The One (Shania Twain) and a few more easy-listening songs like How Do I Live, Kasih, Jerat etc;

Malay - Acheh Wedding Reception at Dewan Besar Tun Rahah

The function has been conducted totally in Malay - Acheh custom and tradition. I was so amazed with the crowded pelamin (wedding dais) but yet beautiful and colourful. We really enjoyed performing Indonesian songs throughout the show with keroncong, pop and latest top songs..More keroncongs on the way!!

In my point of view, the hall isn't as grand as its name. It was so packed with tables and hall decorations plus garden decor for the 'pelamin' (wedding dais). We can hardly find pillars in banquet halls nowadays but there are few in Dewan Besar Tun Rahah. It's surely because of the building's structure..(an acceptable excuse!). Besides that, the band had to share the stage with the 'pelamin' but that doesn't matter as we only sang less than 6 songs..

Once again we performed at Hotel UiTM for 7th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students' Research in Tourism. I've just noticed that there's an error in the date in these pictures..

Hi-Tea at Hotel UiTM, Shah Alam

I was so happy being at this place as to flashback my old bittersweet memories as a student here from 1995-1999. Dato'Sri Ibrahim Abu Shah, the Vice-Chancellor of UiTM was the host for this small hi-tea function and attended by approximately 30 guests including royal guest the Raja Perempuan Perlis, Tuanku Fauziah. As usual, we had poco-poco and songs by Tuanku Fauziah including her favourites, Apa Yang Ku Cari (Endang S.Taurina) & Wulan Merindu (Cici Paramida).

I had a great time with Farizal (keyboardist) and Masyudi (singer) both are army musicians.. Thanks guys!
