Firstly, congrats to the bride and groom..the lovely Tengku Nadiah Hanis and her husband Mohd Alkaf. They've booked us 5 months ago to ensure that we perform on their wedding day and finally the time has come. Most of the songs rendered were based on Tengku Nadiah's request namely Aku dan Dirimu, Keroncong Kasih, Besame Mucho (Spanish version), Lucky (Jason Mraz & Colbie), My Baby You, Mencintaimu etc;

Irama Cempuleng Moden at Quality Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Musicians: Irama Cempuleng Moden, Cendana Klasik Banghuris Sepang.

Recently for 10 days kumpulan Cendana Klasik were performing at Quality Hotel's lobby in conjunction with Selangor Food Promotion 2009. Quite tiring with 2 sets of performance a day but i really enjoyed singing my favourite Malay and English Oldies with all my uncles in Cendana Klasik.

This is not a ghazal group but something different with a combination of modern musical instruments and traditional drums, accordion and violins. We do play oldies and modern songs as well.

Nasi Lemak Kopi 'O' at TV9, Sri Pentas.

Venue: Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.
Time: 8am - 10pm

Nasi Lemak Kopi 'O' is a 2 hours morning segment at TV9. We were so honoured to be on air as a show band for 2 days. Good for promotion purposes though. With flexible line ups, Kumpulan Nusantara is always ready to perform in any kind of function while the group comprises of modern instruments plus percussions.

We did a very-very short rehearsal before the show starts.

Hello friends! Sorry for not updating this blog since my last post on the new year's eve. I'm not going anywhere, I'm still around with a few wedding shows. My very first post for this year is on a wedding show at my favourite location, Dewan Perdana Felda. I should give a credit to Sham & Eza of Nusantara Entertainment (event manager) for all their hardwork..Bravo guys!

NEW YEAR'S EVE PERFORMANCE AT KELAB SAUJANA UTAMA

Time: 9pm - 12 midnight.
Entertainment: 3-piece band

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! This is our first show at Kelab Saujana Utama which is located at Bandar Saujana Utama, Sungai Buloh, Selangor and our final live band performance for the year 2008. For those who loves a quiet, cool and peaceful ambience, this is the right place for you to go. Dine in at the restaurant which serves halal Thai and international cuisine. A highest gratitude to Restoran Rumah Thai Sdn Bhd for inviting us for the show especially to the owner Puan Nas, the manager Puan Laila, Chef Daud and all the staff. Having games and lots of gifts given away, we were having so much fun throughout the night till minutes to the countdown..

WELCOME 2009!! Hope that we'll be blessed with a prosperous year, a happy family and a lot of 'rezeki' coming in..Aminn..

Indian Wedding Reception at Courtyard Garden Restaurant

This time we got the most sporting crowd at Nada & Vimala wedding dinner. Apparently, most of them enjoyed with our show till we had to prolong our show time. I had to sing Valentine (Martina Mcbride) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai twice on their request. Till we meet again next year at Courtyard Garden Restaurant! I do love this place..

Still in the mood of celebrating Christmas..
